Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published in any language, nor is it under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, references include persistent identifiers (DOIs are preferred; URLs may be provided if DOIs are not available).
  • The manuscript is prepared in a clear and readable format. Specific formatting (font size, spacing, placement of tables/figures) will be required after acceptance in accordance with the Author Guidelines.
  • The manuscript follows the journal’s Author Guidelines with respect to style and bibliographic requirements.
  • Where applicable, ethical approval, informed consent, and conflict of interest statements are included in the manuscript.

Author Guidelines

1. Definition and Purpose

1.1. A Commentary Article is a short scholarly piece that provides critical analysis, interpretation, or opinion on a specific issue, published work, policy, or emerging trend.

1.2. The aim is to stimulate academic discussion, highlight new perspectives, or propose future directions, rather than to present original experimental data.

2. Scope of Submissions

2.1. Critical reflections on articles published in this or other academic journals.

2.2. Opinions on emerging trends, challenges, or controversies within a discipline.

2.3. Scholarly comments on policy, industry, or practice-related issues.

2.4. Interdisciplinary viewpoints that encourage dialogue across fields.

3. Structure of a Commentary

3.1. Title – concise and focused, reflecting the central argument.

3.2. Abstract – 150-200 words, summarizing the commentary’s purpose and conclusions.

3.3. Keywords – 3-5 terms.

3.4. Introduction – approx. 300 words, providing background and context.

3.5. Main Commentary – 1000-2500 words, presenting the core arguments with evidence.

3.6. Conclusion – 200-500 words, summarizing key points and implications.

3.7. References – 10-20 representative sources, cited consistently in journal format.

4. Length and Format

4.1. Word limit: 2000-4000 words (including references, excluding abstract).

4.2. Figures/Tables: maximum of 2, only if essential to support arguments.

4.3. Citation style: [Journal’s standard, e.g., APA / Chicago / Vancouver].

5. Writing Requirements

5.1. Originality: Commentary must reflect the author’s own independent analysis.

5.2. Evidence-based: Arguments should be supported by authoritative sources.

5.3. Academic tone: Language must remain professional, avoiding non-academic or emotional expressions.

5.4. Balance: While critical perspectives are welcome, comments should be fair, constructive, and respectful.

6. Review and Publication

6.1. Commentary submissions undergo peer review (fast-track process may be applied).

6.2. Acceptance is based on scholarly value, clarity of argument, and contribution to the field.

6.3. Each issue of the journal typically includes 1-2 Commentary Articles, representing approx. 10-20% of total content.
