About the Journal

Eco-Design is an international academic journal aims to integrate ecological design principles with sustainable development practices. It focuses on interdisciplinary and systemic innovation in ecological design within global development agendas, emphasizing how technology and knowledge can strengthen the innovation capacity of developing countries, especially LDCs. As a critical knowledge hub within the Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) system, the journal provides a high-level platform for policy-makers, researchers, and practitioners to exchange insights and disseminate results, contributing to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through ecological intelligence and global collaboration.

The journal covers a broad range of topics, including but not limited to ecological design theories and methods, green technology applications, circular economy, ecological material design, low-carbon manufacturing and supply chains, cultural heritage and innovation, and community ecological design. With a foundation in rigorous peer review and an open academic exchange environment, Eco-Design aspires to become a leading authority in the field.
